Gender Hive is a project envisioned by the Central Oregon Trans Health Coalition and launched in March 2023 as part of the Trans Health Equity Project — a year-long effort to improve access to trans-inclusive and gender-affirming care in Central Oregon.

The Trans Health Equity Project is funded by support from the Oregon Community Foundation, the Central Oregon Health Coalition, PacificSource, and Seeding Justice and fiscally sponsored by the Central Oregon Health Quality Alliance.

In addition to the Gender Hive, the project will include a community needs assessment, a provider needs assessment, development of a provider training program, and a summary report with recommendations.

The Central Oregon Trans Health Coalition is a grassroots coalition of healthcare professional and trans community members dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare and support for transgender and non-binary Central Oregonians through community outreach, collaboration, and education.
