ABOUT

A social and support group for queer and trans individuals dealing with disabilities, including:

  • vision impairment

  • deaf or hard of hearing

  • other physical disabilities

  • mental health conditions

  • intellectual disabilities

  • acquired brain injuries

  • autism spectrum disorder

  • and post-traumatic stress disorder

You do not need to talk or use video to participate.

The group is open to all LGBTQIA+ people, including trans, nonbinary, questioning, and gender-diverse folks, age 13 and older. This is a space where queer and trans people with disabilities can chat about their experiences, discuss chosen topics, and share resources and validation.

ONLINE ACCESS

In order to ensure the safety of our virtual services, all participants must complete the TransPonder Online Access process before receiving a link for virtual services.

 

To complete this process, you may do one of the following:

  1. Visit us in-person during normal business hours and connect with our front desk staff.

  2. Schedule a video chat via Google Meet. The meetings are about 10 minutes long and can be completed on a cellphone with video ability.

  3. ​If you know someone already using our virtual services, they can email us from their registered address and provide your name and email address in order to verify your identity.
