GENDER-DIVERSE YOGA
NEXT EVENT

ABOUT
To be in a home in your body - to move in a way that feels seen and supported, to feel your breath and down-regulate your nervous system - is a human right and an immense gift and privilege. We are here to support you and your path to wellness.
Gender-Diverse Yoga is a free class offered both in-person and virtually (on Google Meet) and is open to all ages, bodies, abilities, and experience levels.
We recognize that the Asanas are only ONE facet of yogic practice. We are grateful for the opportunity to explore our mind-body connection in a space that endeavors to support our gender-diverse community, as many of us within the community have challenged relationships with this connection.
ONLINE ACCESS
To join us virtually, please log into Google Meet at least 5 minutes before class. The instructor will not be monitoring the computer once class begins and you may not be able to get access. Please also mute your mic to reduce audio feedback.
If you need the Google Meet link, please email us using the button.
Please note: all new participants must complete the TransPonder Virtual Access process to receive the link. This process helps to ensure safety of all participants and groups.
Please contact us at least two business days before the group you wish to attend.
MEET THE TEACHERS

TARA
THEY/SHE/WITCH
Meet Tara, the community’s radiant modern witch and digital-age yoga conjurer. Tara’s classes are a cosmic blend of movement, mindfulness, and meme affirmations are peppered with gentle rebellion.
Tara believes your truest magic is found right in your body—messy, magnificent, and gloriously yours. By weaving together practices of body liberation and care, Tara transforms yoga into a dynamic space for every trans and queer soul to land, stretch, and be witnessed. The witch mat isn’t a pedestal but a gathering ground, scattered with neon pronoun pins, succulents, and zines—inviting all identities to show up as they are.
With each session, Tara skips the perfectionism, inviting students to flow, flop, laugh, and experiment. Her rituals are practical (tarot and breathwork, anyone?) and her class mantras echo: “every body is worthy,” “community is the most powerful spell,” and “support is sacred, not scarce.”

AMANDA
THEY/THEM
amanda has been teaching yoga since 2020. They are passionate about bringing yoga to their queer/trans community and offering anyone who is curious an opportunity to connect in a new way. Their yoga practice prioritizes slowness, intentionality, and self acceptance. Outside of yoga, they enjoy spending time with their cats, gardening, and reading books.
