WELLNESS PROGRAM

Our Wellness Program services are FREE and currently serve individuals, families, and groups aged 14 and older. We specialize in LGBTQIA+ issues and offer resource navigation, peer services, and therapy.

RESOURCE NAVIGATION

TransPonder has a Resource Navigator to help folks access services, resources, and programs, both at TransPonder and through other organizations.

 

Our Resource Navigator can help you access free gender-affirming products, support you through the legal ID name change process, help you access free hormone injection supplies, and more.

PEER SUPPORT

Our peers are solid advocates and help support community members’ emotional health and wellness, as well as their self-management of social and health challenges. Peers can also provide support during major transitions in life.

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY

We offer culturally competent, affirming mental healthcare for the LGBTQIA2S+ community, including individual therapy, access to gender-affirming surgery support letters, therapy groups, and more.

HARM REDUCTION

As a part of our partnership with HIV Alliance and The Lavender Network, we offer harm reduction supplies, including needles, syringes, alcohol wipes, sharps containers, Narcan (nasal Naloxone), and more.

Please come to the door off the parking lot at the rear of the building to check in for the Food Program. This entrance is fully accessible and there is plenty of parking.

NO SURPRISES ACT

You may have heard stories from friends or in the news about receiving a surprise medical bill from health care providers and facilities. As of January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act protects you from many types of these surprise bills. If you receive a surprise medical bill, it may be prohibited by this law.

THE LAVENDER NETWORK

The Lavender Network is a collaborative group - created in partnership by HIV Alliance, TransPonder, Queer Eugene, the Authentic Movement Project, and Eugene PRIDE - as a way to deepen our commitment to providing care to the LGBTQIA community, especially the transgender and gender-diverse community.
 

Services available through The Lavender Network include:

  • FREE Harm Reduction Supplies

  • FREE STI testing

    • Rapid HIV, HEP C, and Syphilis Testing on Wednesdays 12-4p

    • Shoes, dresses, shirts, pants, etc.

BHRN OF LANE COUNTY

TransPonder is part of the Behavioral Health Resource Network of Lane County (BHRN-LC), a collaborative group of service providers in Lane County, Oregon, that provides a single point of access to harm reduction, treatment, and recovery services for people who use substances.

 

Our network is funded through the Oregon Health Authority by Measure 110, a ballot initiative that aimed to expand access to substance use treatment across the state of Oregon.
