Everett Ó Cillín
Everett (they/them) is a trans/genderqueer outdoor enthusiast and former curator working toward a Master’s in Social Work at Portland State University’s Eugene campus. They received a BA in Religious Studies & Media Studies from Cal Poly Humboldt before relocating to Seattle to pursue a Master’s in Museology with a focus on community centered and issue driven exhibitions at the University of Washington.
After working in the museum field for nearly two decades, Everett relocated to Oregon from Santa Cruz, CA where they were active in community organizing efforts and served as a peer facilitator for a trans and gender diverse support group. As an adventure cycling guide and former co-founder of the Radical Adventure Riders – a movement towards gender inclusivity and racial equity in cycling and the outdoors – Everett’s practice centers on movement, creativity, connection, and embodiment.
Everett is thrilled to be working alongside the fabulous folks at Transponder as an intern with the Behavioural Health team and looks forward to connecting with the broader TransPonder community here in Oregon.
