I provide behvioral health services in a private practice setting. Let's be clear that gender dysphoria and sexuality are not a mental illnesses. However, experiencing them can make some things more difficult and can result in other concerns. This is often due to social, environmental and other barriers.
I work with adults who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. For those who are exploring their identity or experiencing gender dysphoria, we can work on these issues, specifically, as well as mental and behavioral health issues.
I work with family members who want to work through their own experiences during their family member's transition or identity exploration to develop greater understanding of what this means for them.
Many of those I have served have their own other transition to work through such as aging, financial challenges, separation, and loss.
We all have our needs.
